Notice Regarding the Introduction of the Accommodation Tax

Starting June 1, 2026, an accommodation tax will be introduced in Nagano Prefecture.

In accordance with Nagano Prefectural regulations, guests will be required to pay both the hot spring tax (onsen tax) and the accommodation tax separately from the room rate.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

■ Accommodation Tax

● June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2029

JPY 200 per person, per night

● From June 1, 2029

JPY 300 per person, per night

※The accommodation tax applies when the room rate is JPY 6,000 or more per person, per night.
