The hotel is located straight ahead after exiting Shinshu Nakano IC.
After about 20 minutes you will enter a mountain path, and after another 10 to 15 minutes you will see the first hotel.
The place is called Sun Valley, and it is the first slope after entering Shiga Kogen.

Parking Information

As the hotel is located on the slopes, you cannot drive all the way to the front of the hotel.
When you arrive at Sun Valley, there is a free parking lot on the left side of the road with a capacity of 350 cars.
You will have to park in the large parking lot, but you can load and unload your luggage in front of the hotel.
The hotel is about a 2-3 minute walk from the parking lot.

Once you have all your luggage, please bring it from the large parking lot to the front entrance.

Once you have finished loading and unloading your luggage, please proceed to the parking lot.

If you are coming by car, we recommend that you bring chains.
Because it is a cold region, the gasoline may freeze and stop the car from moving, so it will be a good idea to fill up your car with gas at a gas station in Shinshu Nakano or Yamanouchi Town. *This is designed for cold climates.

By train

Please check the timetable for the Nagano Electric Railway Direct Bus [Express to Shiga Kogen] and book your Shinkansen ticket working backwards.

Take the Nagano Electric Railway (private railway) from JR Nagano Station Zenkoji Exit to Yudanaka Station, then transfer to a local bus (towards Shiga Kogen) to Shiga Kogen

The quickest and cheapest way to get to Shiga Kogen is by taking a direct bus (Nagano Station East Exit) (Nagaden Bus).

Leaves from the East Exit of Nagano Station. [Shiga Kogen bound] Approx. 1 hour, get off at Sun Valley, 1 minute walk

Calculate the bus time backwards and then take the Shinkansen for a smoother journey.
